Facial Feminization Procedures
Dr. Kochuba performs FFS procedures that can address the upper, middle and lower face:
- Forehead Recontouring - reshapes the forehead and brow region to create a smoother, more feminine upper-face contour.
- Brow Lift - raises and repositions the brows to change their position and the appearance of the upper face.
- Rhinoplasty - changes the shape and proportions of the nose and its relationship to surrounding facial features.
- Cheek Augmentation - adds volume to the cheeks and midface using injectable fillers or fat grafting.
- Lip Lift - shortens the distance between the nose and upper lip and increases the amount of visible upper lip.
- Chin Recontouring - changes the shape, width or projection of the chin to alter lower-face proportions.
- Jaw Recontouring - reshapes the jaw to modify its width and the contour of the lower face.
Not every patient seeking FFS has the same surgical priorities. The procedures included in a facial feminization plan depend on the areas a patient wants to change and which procedures are appropriate for those goals.
